Times to launch luxury glossy magazine

LONDON - The Times newspaper will launch a quarterly 64-page luxury glossy magazine called Luxx in November.

Edited by Tina Gaudoin, Luxx will cover every aspect of the luxury sector, from home to holidays, and is billed as “the perfect partner for those who want to seek out the finest pleasures”.

The launch issue of Luxx will be published on 17 November. Advertisers include Jimmy Choo, Raymond Weil Watches and Dom Perignon.
Times Media trading director Dominic Carter said: “Nearly one million AB readers of the Saturday Times do not read the Saturday FT, GQ, The Economist, Harper’s Bazaar, Vanity Fair or Vogue. Now the luxury sector – be it fashion, travel, property or motoring – will have the opportunity to target this rich and valuable audience within a truly luxurious environment.”
The announcement comes less than a week after The Telegraph declared it would launch a biannual perfect-bound magazine called ST Fashion on 23 September.
