Telegraph's Edgley poached by Associated Newspapers

LONDON - Associated Newspapers has hired the Telegraph's Nick Edgley to head up its international sales division.

Edgley, who will report to group commercial director Guy Zitter, joins Associated from the Telegraph Media Group, where he was international sales director for 10 years and managed 35 representatives worldwide.

During this time, he increased advertising revenues from £1.9m to over £8m in direct business from overseas.
Edgley will work across all the Associated brands, including the Daily Mail, Mail on Sunday, Evening Standard, London Lite and Metro.
Zitter said Edgley had been recruited to capitalise on the growing strength of Associated’s digital portfolio internationally.
